Yilin Zheng

Hi everyone! My name is Yilin Zheng and I am a student in Monmouth County, New Jersey! My passion for the environment and sustainability first blossomed during the beach cleanups I would participate in through my school. After learning about the harmful effects of overconsumption and unsustainable mass production, I have made it my goal to educate other students on the importance of conservation and upcycling to give old clothing and packaging a second life before the landfill! In my free time, I love playing the violin, painting, sewing, and hanging out with my two cats!

Hey Y'all! My name is Dan Autunnale and I am a student in Middlesex County, New Jersey! My passion for sustainability and environmental conservation stemmed from the beaches around where I grew up. At almost 18, I've grown up seeing our famous beaches trashed and littered on more and more each year. From plastic bottles to cigarettes, each piece of garbage lying on our land is contributing to the total destruction of our environment. Realizing this, I've set out to make the change I wish to see in my community. In my free time, I enjoy reading, jamming out to Olivia Rodrigo, and writing!
